Everything we put on our skin soaks directly into our bloodstream. Tallow contains vitamins A, D, K and E which helps our bodies heal, regenerate and grow healthy, nourished cells. I use locally sourced, grass-fed suet and render it into grass fed tallow/unrefined beef tallow, so it contains no toxic additives and is easily absorbed and assimilated into skin. Be aware, tallow does have its own scent, and each batch is a little bit different in consistency and smell. I use organic, cold-pressed olive oil and a FEW drops of essential oil, so I consider this a safe thing to use on stretched pregnant bellies, raw, chapped nipples, red and inflamed baby bums and any other crevice that needs a little love.
